Naomi Creek
National Coordinator, GHLF Australia
About Naomi
Naomi has been the National Coordinator for CreakyJoints Australia since its inception in 2015. Prior to this, she spent her working career as a graphic artist in the major advertising firm Clemenger BBDO, then later running her own graphics business from home.
Diagnosed at age 12, Naomi’s personal experience living with rheumatoid arthritis has made her a passionate advocate for others living with arthritis and chronic pain. She believes patients must have access to the right resources to understand their condition and feel empowered to manage their own health. She is a firm believer in a holistic approach to living well through healthy eating, regular exercise, medication and reducing stress.
Naomi has involved herself in many volunteer roles over the decades, from local community arts and environment positions to representing consumers in health care organisations. She spent 10 years leading the Young Women’s Arthritis Support Group (YWASG) in Melbourne, Australia. At Arthritis Victoria, she sat on the board of directors, was a helpline operator, community speaker and a patient representative on many sub-committees. She currently sits on the Pain Australia Consumer Advisory Group.
Naomi lives on remote Flinders Island, Tasmania, Australia.
