About Shelley

Shelley is the Patient-Centered Engagement and Insights Manager at GHLF. She is responsible for designing, supporting, and delivering patient engagement and patient-centricity in all initiatives across the organization. She engages in communication related initiatives and participates in patient advisory board services including engagement panels and patient-informed protocol design for research projects. She also supports the editorial requirements of the organization for patient-focused content development. Shelley is a patient herself living with rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and celiac disease. Shelley has a master’s degree in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining GHLF, Shelley worked in public education for 28 years as a public school educator, math coach, professional developer, and educational consultant, all of which helped prepare her for this role that is a blend of patient education, research, and outreach.
